Hong Kong Food!

So I was eating at a Tasty Garden the other day, and it occurred to me that food from Hong Kong is actually pretty different from traditional Chinese cuisines.  And that's what inspired me to make this blog post.
If you're from Hong Kong, you've probably heard of these foods. But if you're not, get ready to be enlightened! And no, fortune cookies will not be in this. Or the typical Panda Express orange chicken.
These are the must taste Hong Kong style foods that you must have at least once in your lifetime! But these are just foods that I personally enjoy and some may be Americanized authentic Hong Kong food. Does that kinda make sense? :P (photo creds to owners)

Egg Waffles (Also Eggettes in English? Gai daan jai in Cantonese). Probably on every Hong Kong street food recommendation list. Must be a sign xD

Hong Kong Style Baked Pork Chop Rice. This was what I was having at Tasty Garden.

Buttered pineapple bun (or just pineapple bun). They're typically sold at cha chaan tangs, but you can get the bread without the butter at bakeries.

Congee.

Best with congee.

Hong Kong Style Egg Tarts.

Hong Kong Style French Toast.

Five Layer Pork.

Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup. You must try it in Hong Kong -- it's delicious.

Soy Sauce Noodles.

Chicken Rice.

Curry Fish Balls (best when fresh off the street xD).

Hong Kong's Mango desserts. :D

Black Sesame Tang Yuan (tastes better than it looks).

Clay Pot Rice. One of my favorites! And you can put almost anything on top of the rice xD

And Dim Sum! :D

Try some in Hong Kong the next time you go!
